Ok so we all have problems with our hair and weather right? Well I do sort of. I have natural like I blogged about before, but it seems like my hair loves Moisture. MY HAIR, not my scalp. That's a WHOLE other story. But anyway, for reasons we all have shouted, "I can't work out because my hair is gonna mess up, or it's raining I don't have an umbrella my hair is gonna get wet", is that such a bad thing? For our hair to experience it's natural state every once in awhile.
I am currently wearing my hair in a two day old twist out. I get ALOT of tips that I use and have found to work great with my hair from @Nap85 on Twitter and Naptural 85 on Facebook. She tries alot of different twist out methods, she makes her own products and uses maybe one or two that she doesn't make and that's it. Her hair is AMAZING!!! I was always afraid to do different styles with my hair since I've been natural, but since I looked her up on YouTube and have subscribed to her channel, I must say her tips WORK!!! I'm not afraid to try different styles and I'm so loving my hair now.
Before I became natural my hair was limp and dry and I just really hated it. The weather made it even worse and if I didn't have a bunch of gunk in it, there was not helping it at all. If it rained it was in a ponytail, same thing with snow. When it was hot and I would sweat or if I worked out and I would sweat (gross I know, keep reading lol) my hair was just a hotmess.com!!! In my opinion, some hair styles do better than others in certain type of weather conditions. Mine for one likes moisture, so rain, snow and sweat COME HERE!!! It coils better, it maintains it's style longer, I am absolutely loving be a natural sistah!! And another thing, we just had our Central State University's homecoming over the weekend and it was a great site to see ALOT of my fellow Centralians wearing natural hairstyles, so awesome!!
